In case of group travel, if a member of the group (group leader or group member) declines to travel before the European Commission contractor has booked the travel ticket, this decision will not jeopardise the whole group. The remaining group members can still travel as planned. However, the person who withdrew cannot be replaced. The European Commission will give this unused travel ticket to someone else from the reserve list in descending order of the selection.
In case it is the group leader who declines, then the group should appoint a new group leader who will be the new single point of contact for the external contractor designated by the European Commission.
