EU Nationals
All EU nationals need a valid ID or passport to travel in the EU. In order to travel with the travel ticket(s) issued by DiscoverEU, you’ll be required to travel with the travel document you apply with (passport or national ID card).
Nationals from non-EU countries
If you are a national from Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and North Macedonia:
- You must have a biometric passport that is valid for at least three months after the end of your visit.
- The passport must be issued within the last ten years.
Travels to and from Türkiye
DEU travellers who wish to visit Türkiye will not need to have a VISA, since the travel is restricted up to 30 days. Ordinary passport holders of countries below are exempted from visa up to 90 days in any 180-day period:
Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Croatia, Netherlands, France, Finland, Estonia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Italy, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Norway, North Macedonia, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Greece, Ireland.
All Turkish travellers will need to have a VISA to travel to European countries. Either the Schengen Visa (for all countries part of Schengen: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden). For all other European country, you will need to have a specific Visa per country.
