DiscoverEU isn't just a trip, it's a community. Here's how to meet other travellers and share your adventures.
Join the official DiscoverEU Facebook group
The #DiscoverEU Official Facebook group brings together past, present and future DiscoverEU travellers. It's a great place to find travel buddies, share your plans, get recommendations and tips, and read about other travellers' adventures for inspiration.
To join:
- Make sure you have a Facebook account.
- Search for #DiscoverEU Official on Facebook.
- Click Join group.
- Answer a few questions and submit your request.
Only the group's moderators and admins can see your answers. A moderator will review your request and approve your membership.
You're a DiscoverEU Ambassador
As a selected participant, you automatically become a DiscoverEU Ambassador. We'll invite you to share your travel experiences on social media using #DiscoverEU. You could even give a presentation at your school or in your local community. DiscoverEU on the European Youth Portal
Share your trip on social media
- Use #DiscoverEU in your posts, so other travellers can find them.
- Follow DiscoverEU on Instagram and X.
- Keep your posts short and simple. Most people only read the first few lines.
- Ask questions, reply to others and take part in polls to start conversations.
- Use humour, but be careful not to hurt anyone's feelings.
Share safely: post about places after you've left them, and never share your Pass QR code or travel documents. How can I stay safe online and on social media?
