Check for disruptions the evening before each Travel Day. That way, you'll know about any problems in time and can change your plans if needed.
Where to check
- The train company's website. This has the most up-to-date times and routes. List of train companies
- Interrail's travel disruptions page. This lists current strikes and major disruptions in different countries. See current travel disruptions
- The DiscoverEU Travel app. Planned track works are usually already included in the Planner. Live delays and cancellations are only shown for some train companies, and only when you're online. Turn on live updates and notifications under More > Settings.
Is your trip disrupted? Talk to the train company's staff first. They're responsible for helping you continue your journey, for example by arranging another train or a replacement bus.
